Happy Birthday Dad!

I just haven’t been up to blogging lately. You could say I have a “sour attitude” in regards to it, but it could just be hormones and a fleeting thing. Wouldn’t be the first time! It could also be work getting in my way. And life. You pick.
Anyway, my main reason for the entry today was to wish my dad a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It falls on memorial day this year, which I kind of think is a sad day, but he told me that in the past he had fond memories of having his birthday fall on the holiday…so that’s cool. I’m a bad daughter so I didn’t get him anything out in the mail yet, in fact I still have his hot dog cooker from Christmas…yeah..I suck…I know this. I made a promise to get it out to him by the end of this week though, so I’m determined to make good on it, I don’t make promises lightly.
Anyway..hope you have a great day dad, and from all of us up here in NY…

Wow a entry for my birthday! No you do not suck! You are the greatest daughter a man could have.
Memorial Day to me is not a sad time. It’s a time to remember those that have left this world and to show we have not forgotten them. Plus I get paid for it and don’t have to work it and get to take my birthday off too another day and get paid for it again, yea!
