Getting Afghans from Stan..

That’s how Andrew refers to where he is at right now. I think it’s kind of funny.

I don’t get to talk very much on the phone with him, but lately he’s been able to chat at night, so I can’t complain. He isn’t very happy over there. I think he’s about as lonely as me, and most likely more. At least I have the kids to distract me. All he has are his own thoughts, and as we all know…you start thinking to much and nothing good ever comes out of it.

Anyway, here are some more pictures of Stan and also a few of his The ones of his room are bit small cause they were taken with his web cam, and the other ones are borrowed from another soldier.

After looking at these mountains, it’s easier to fathom why we haven’t caught ole Osama, don’t you think?

** please notice that nice blanket on his bed — he brought it back from his first trip to Iraq, and ever since then I claimed it. I mean I CLAIMED it. It was my best woobie ever. Don’t ask me why I call it woobie..I just do.’s now with him. It gets cold in the mountains of Stan, and I didn’t feel right turning him down when he asked for it. I miss it greatly though. All these months that he’s been away’s wrapped me up, and made me feel better, and now it’s gone. 😦 I’m glad he’s enjoying it though. Lord knows his cell… needs a piece of home in it!
