About Me

I think I’m still trying to figure out who I am..just when I think I have it all figured it out, I do something to contradict who I thought I was. Here are the basics though:

I’m a mother of 2 gorgeous girls, ages 11 and 4, and I love every minute of it. They keep me grounded and focused on whats most important in life.

I’m a wife of a military officer and have been married for 13 years. For the most part, I enjoy the military life, the deployments lately have really gotten in my way though. It’s difficult…for now I’ll leave it at that.

I like things organized & clean because I think the way things are on the outside is a reflection of whats lurking on the inside. On the other end of the spectrum though, I’m not a “planner” I’d rather just go with the flow and have things sort themselves out naturally. Unfortunately, I realize this isn’t always a good philosophy. I need to work on organizing the things that I can’t see just as well as I do the things I can. That make sense? Forgive me if not. It’s late.

Speaking of late, I currently work nights from midnight till 8 in the morning M-F. I work at an agency that tries to get troublesome youth back on track. Right now I am direct care staff and manage the cottage where the kids live at night. It’s a pretty easy job, and for the most part I like it. I am still trying to balance having a life and working at the same time. I’m not very good at multitasking….whether it be the small things, or the really big things like a job and family. It’s one of my new goals though…to try and balance the two out.

I like to say I’m an artist, although I haven’t painted in almost a year, and the more time that passes without creating anything, I wonder if it was all just a fluke and I’m nothing more than a wannabe that lacked enough passion to really be able to call myself an “artist”.

Anyway, I’m many more things, but I’d be here all night trying to sort them all out. Hopefully this is enough to give you an idea of who I am? It will have to do for now, either way!
